myContactCard is startup company out of Laguna Niguel, California, trying to take email signatures in desktop and browser applications to the next level. The idea is not unlike a website; essentially your emails would have your company’s branding and drive traffic to current marketing initiatives.
I was one of the core members of the team for the first two years, appointed the role director of web development. I designed and developed the first couple websites and had a hand in developing the first few email signature concepts. I also tested and submitted feedback on the Enterprise application.
I utilized WordPress as a content management system for the website, managing hundreds of email signatures that were made available on the website for download, both free and subscription based. I designed a number of email signatures for entertainers Keith Urban and Secondhand Serenade.
I was also responsible for search engine optimization, copywriting for a lot of the website, the blog; the list goes on. It was fun while it lasted, but unfortunately issues with budget, funding and that sort of thing resulted in a parting of ways. It’s as they say, nothing is quite forever.
