Carrozzeria Design located in Irvine, California is the authorized dealer of full tuning lines and accessories (Brembo, HRE Wheels, Imola Racing, KW Suspension, Miura Corse, TechArt, Wald, etc.) for Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, and Porsche.
I designed and developed both their first and second website; the second definitely being the better of the two, using far more updated technology. At the time, the jQuery light box plug-in was just starting to get hot and most people had never seen it before.
After the second website had been completed, I’d been approached more than once by rival tuning shops wanting similar if not identical websites. Carrozzeria Design was rather well known in the European tuning community but even still, its PageRank (PR) never went above 2.
Actually the highest PR I’ve ever seen for any company in the aftermarket industry is 4 (HRE Wheels, HKS USA, Rays). I’ve been dying to get a chance to play with the SEO of a high end performance brand in the same industry to see if I can take it to 5; any takers?
