AnyTrack is a wireless location based services provider that sells GPS tracking products and services to consumers as well as other businesses. Their products and services are designed to help customers quickly and easily locate people and property using real-time information from GPS and CDMA networks.
I joined the AnyTrack LBS team in 2007, a few months after I had graduated from University of California, Irvine. I designed and developed their new website and redesigned their product as well as service brochures (including screenshots for applications that weren’t market ready).
It was a jolly good time; I also learned to work with Adobe’s Flex and Google’s android to help skin their tracking applications for desktop and mobile. It’s funny how we were working with leading edge stuff when it came to application development, but I was stuck with NetSuite (yuck) to work on the website.
I think that’s what happens when old school marketing types with MBAs get in the way of getting the job done right. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. AnyTrack is a subsidiary of AnyData, a manufacturer of wireless data devices. When I wasn’t work on AnyTrack, I had my fair share of work with AnyData.
